Café de Olla is a typical Mexican way to make coffee. For many, its just another way to drink it, for us, its a tradition that embraces you with the love and union it has involved generation to generation.

Rather than focusing on the trauma of the Residential School system, this project highlights the children’s artistic expressions as acts of agency and memory, offering an alternative narrative centered on healing and survival.
This short film brings to life the artwork of children from the Alberni and Mackay Indian Residential Schools, honoring their creativity, resilience, and cultural strength.
